About Us

Charlotte Newborn Care was founded with a mission to provide the most professional, highest quality, nurturing care for your newborn. Our experienced, highly qualified team of healthcare professionals, provide in-home, overnight care for your newborn. All of our Registered Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants have many years of experience with lactation support, postpartum, newborn nursery, mother baby, and labor and delivery. The safety of your family is very important to us, so all of our professionals are infant CPR certified and up to date on vaccinations.

We know having a newborn is such a joyous time, but can also be very exhausting and lead to many sleepless nights. Our goal is to make the transition from hospital, to home, to the first couple months, as easy as possible for you and your family.

Newborn Care Services

The typical hours for Charlotte Newborn Care are 10:00 P.M. – 6:00 A.M. Our nighttime routine includes feeding and burping the baby, diaper changes, swaddling, soothing and rocking, preparing and washing bottles, light cleaning in the nursery, folding newborn laundry, and supporting getting your baby on a night time schedule. If you are breast feeding, we can bring your baby to your room to nurse, or you can have pumped milk or formula available for the nurse to feed your baby.

We recommend contacting Charlotte Newborn Care later in your 3rd trimester, so we have enough time to assess your needs and get staff in place as soon as you get home from the hospital. Please keep in mind you may not have the same person covering all of your nights. We will try our best to keep it consistent, but in most cases, you will have a couple different staff members working with your family.

No medical care is provided with Charlotte Newborn Care. If you have questions or concerns related to your newborn’s health or condition, please contact your pediatrician.

Rates

In Home Care

Single	$35/per hour
Twins	$45/per hour

Additional Information

$125 non-refundable placement fee if you decide to use our services

Forms of payment accepted include Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Client will be billed weekly at the end of the billing cycle. Our billing cycle runs Sunday to Saturday.

If client needs to cancel services, 24 hours of advanced notice of the scheduled date needs to be given, otherwise there will be a cancellation fee of $75.

Due to illness, death in family, or severe weather, please understand our staff may have to cancel last minute. We will try our hardest to find a replacement for you. If that’s not possible, you will not be charged for that scheduled night.

Gift certificates are also available. The gift of sleep is probably the best gift you could give parents!
