Taryn was born and raised in North Carolina. She graduated nursing school from Rockingham Community College in 1997, and has worked with moms and babies ever since. Currently, she works on the Mother Baby unit at Carolinas Medical Center, where she has worked for the past 16 years. To further her education, she is working on getting her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing degree from South University and will graduate in December 2016. Taryn loves working with moms and babies and getting the privilege of assisting families with the most precious gift they will ever receive. She believes she has the best job in the world and loves spoiling newborn babies! In her free time, she loves spending time with her husband of 16 years and their 3 sons (10 year old twins and a 4 year old). Her life and minivan is full and busy with sports, church activities, and a host of other things. She also enjoys reading and traveling, with the Outerbanks being her favorite place to go.
